Business Email Compromise (BEC) – also known as email account compromise (EAC) – is one of the most financially damaging online crises. BEC can take many forms including phishing, malware, or fraudulent credentials use. Basically, the fraudulent use of email credentials to gain account access is the most basic form. This requires account passwords to be a high priority for cyber protection.
