THE APPLIED AI COMPANY (AAICO) AND INTERNET 2.0 STRIKE US$60 MILLION AI-POWERED CYBERSECURITY PARTNERSHIP

Cybersecurity threats and the proliferation of inauthentic content and traffic pose an increasing challenge to sustaining a free and open internet.

Under this partnership Internet 2.0 will provide military-grade cybersecurity to the millions of pages of data that AAICO processes for its numerous US and UK clients, while AAICO develops machine learning systems to counter the proliferation of inauthentic content, botnets and deepfakes.

“Social media has become an epicenter of public opinion. Bot farms and inauthentic content producers understand that everything from consumer trends to government processes can be influenced by shaping social media traffic.” Robert Potter, Co-CEO of Internet 2.0.

Internet 2.0 has partnered with leading UK applied AI firm AAICO to develop solutions which identify inauthentic online traffic.

“We see broad utility for this capability” said Mr Potter “Cybersecurity and AI are increasingly converging as mutually dependent fields. We also understand that protecting the significant intellectual property and data of AI companies is key to maintaining their advantages in the market.”

AAICO will be providing breakthrough AI research and product development capabilities to build and maintain a real time platform which identifies inauthentic content and social media activities.

“This will have more than cybersecurity outcomes” said Arya Bolurfrushan, Founder and CEO of AAICO, “advertisers have a financial interest in knowing they are paying for access to real people through their ad spend. Furthermore, identifying truth in a growing context of AI-generated content and deepfakes is imperative for the future.”

Internet 2.0 is a leading joint US and Australian cyber security organization whose mission is to defend clients and partners from the most advanced threats.

The Applied AI Company (AAICO) builds products to help automate and enhance mission critical processes within the health and safety sectors.
