Internet 2.0 has been named as a finalist in the Australian Space Awards for SME Business of the Year and Start-up of the Year!

The Australian Space Awards is the pinnacle event for recognising our nation’s most remarkable individuals and businesses operating across the space sector.

The finalist list features over 100 high-achieving professionals across 23 submission-based categories.

These prestigious awards identify the top businesses and professionals in the space industry, recognising them for their exceptional achievements throughout the past year and contribution towards advancing space capabilities within Australia.

Space Connect’s Adam Thorn said this year’s finalists had been true innovators who have helped turn Australia into a genuine space-faring nation – despite two tough years of COVID restrictions.

“To be named a finalist places professionals, academics and businesses among an elite group of performers,” Thorn said. “We cannot wait to celebrate the achievements of all of our finalists and unveil our award winners at our black-tie gala event on 24 March 2022 at The Star in Sydney.

“On behalf of Space Connect and Momentum Media, I’d like to wish all of our finalists the best of luck!”

Robert Potter and David Robinson, co-CEOs of Internet 2.0, said they were excited to be recognised and proud to be named as a finalist in the Australian Space Awards 2022.

“This recognition for our excellent contribution to the space industry reinforces the strength of our team’s continued efforts to deliver world leading cyber security services to our clients” Robert added.
